Edwardian 1.00 Carat Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, Circa 1905

1900 - 1920
Description

An impressive old cut diamond target cluster ring from the early part of last century. The old European cut in the centre is dazzlingly white - graded E/F - and is surround by twelve nicely substantial old mine cut diamonds in a yellow gold coronet setting. Sits on a D-shaped 18k yellow gold shank which pinches in at the shoulders.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR.

Cut: Old European cut in the centre, with old mine cuts in the surround.

Colour: F in the centre. The diamonds in the surround range from E to H.

Clarity: The centre is I1. The diamonds in the surround range from SI1 to SI2.

Carat: The centre is a known 0.70 carat, with a further approximate 0.30 carat in the surround.

Circa: 1905.

Size: K or US size 5 1/8. Free sizing available.

Measurements: The centre diamond is approximately 5.8mm in diameter. The head of the ring is approximately 10.2mm in diameter.

Weight: 3.08 grams.

Metal: Stamped 18ct inside the band, and tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer to confirm.
