Gents 9ct gold Omega 30T2 wrist watch, 1945.

The watch has a 15-jewel 30T2 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Omega name, and it has the serial number 10,366,672 which dates it back to 1945/46.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1945 with a maker’s mark for the Birmingham case maker Aaron Dennison. The front and sides of the case are in lovely condition. Some unevenness to the back of the watch.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed black dial is in its original finish. There is some freckling / marking across the dial but it only shows at certain angles.

A later leather strap has been fitted, and it has an after market buckle.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
