The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch is a good size at 31.5mm wide excluding the winding crown, and 31.5mm high excluding the lugs. The case is silver and the inner case back has the swan mark, the French silver import mark for silver imported into France, in this case probably from Switzerland. The front and sides of the case are in good condition. The back has general light surface marks and a little unevenness.

The lens is in good condition.
The dial has the red 12, and also the red inner 24 hour dial which gives the whole water an interesting appearance. Original hands. The radium luminous detail has been removed from the hands and numbers at some stage. There is a short very faint hairline between 4 and 5, difficult to see with the naked eye.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
