A fine quality chronometer fusee ships clock. A 6" enamel dial with brass hands and a slow/fast adjuster above the 12 o'clock position. A cast brass bezel with bevelled glass and a silvered inner ring. A superb, chronometer fusee mechanism with maintaining power, of 8-day duration. A lovely period winding key. Circa 1865..
