A large imposing ''country'' made stool...it stands on four tapered chamfered ash legs, which are spliced in the top with a wedge to keep tight....it has a large shaped elm seat ....the colour is very good as you would expect with aged elm and ash with a natural patina and in very good condition.
English - West Country. C1760-80.
