Gents 9ct gold Omega wrist watch, 1964.

The watch was a calibre 269 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 21,385,627 which dates it back to 1964.

The watch measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the later winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1965, together with the case maker’s mark for the English case maker Aaron Dennison, and the Omega mark. Precious metal cases were often manufactured in the destination country to avoid import taxes. The front and sides of the case are in good condition, the case back has some unevenness

The lens has very light marking but is very acceptable.

The signed dial is in good original condition with original hands, subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.
