Edwardian Antique Silver Basket, Sheffield 1909

Description

A beautiful Edwardian antique silver basket with a fixed handle. Made in Sheffield in 1909 by Martin Hall and Co. This famous silver company was started by Richard Martin and Ebenezer Hall, they plied their trade in the Shrewsbury Works. The company produced a very wide range of silver pieces between 1863 and 1911. A gorgeous bowl with expertly cut fret work around the body. It sits on 4 feet and is fully hallmarked inside. There is no damage or repairs and it is in excellent condition.

WEIGHT; 330 grams or 11 ozst approx.
