Description

A Victorian silver heart shape box with clear hallmarks for Chester 1899 and makers mark for William Neale. Hallmarks appear on the base interior and on the side of the lid. This super quality box is made of plain smooth silver. The lid has a gadrooned edge and a vacant heart shape shield. The base sides are concave so the box is easy to hold. The interior is fully gilded, a sign of quality. The hinge and lid function perfectly. Excellent condition.
