The circular frame is embellished with an impressive Meissen porcelain* panel, depicting a fox.

The animal portrait is encompassed with a rope twist decorated border.

This impressive brooch secures to the reverse via a hinged pin and clasp fastening.

This antique Meissen brooch is hallmarked to the reverse with the maker's mark (WS) and the 14ct gold fineness mark (585).
