A French Empire commode in flame mahogany with matched veneers to the four oak lined drawers, which are flanked by bronze mounted pillars.The top is the original fossilised marble, which contrasts well with the mahogany carcass. With original locks, handles and even the quatrefoil steel key, a very smart and sophisticated example all drawers made to run well, and all has been cleaned and waxed.
