Carved Oak Side Table C.1890

19th century
Description

Splendid late 19th.c. Renaissance revival carved oak side table c.1890. Oak top with a deep moulded edge and canted corners over a single drawer. Carved frieze to all four sides with lions masks at the corners, each with a brass ring in it's mouth. Over a shaped and carved apron with turned and carved finial droppers at the sides. Carved cup and cover legs raised on Classical style dolphin shaped feet and joined with a broad carved and moulded stretcher. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
