Description

Circa 1890-1910 an unusual brass wall hanger with two stags heads, one can be moved along the rail.

It measures 36cm at the widest part, the height from the stag's head to the base of the wall fitting is 18cm. The back plate is 15.5cm long and 8cm across, and there are four ready made drill holes to attach it to a wall.

The item is solid, well made and weighs approximately 0.7kgs. It may have been used to hold a candle holder, plant or decorative items.
