William IV Antique Silver “Book” Style Snuff Box,london 1836

Description

A very fine William IV antique silver snuff box shaped like a book. Made in London in 1836 by "GMH". It has an 11 piece hinge which is tight and the lid closes crisply. The interior is fully gilded with hallmarks on the base and top. It has an engraving on the front "Elvina Luce" and very intricate engraving on the top and base. Overall this delightful snuff box is in excellent condition and very collectable.

WEIGHT; 60 grams or 2 ozst approximately.
