The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
The centre is painted with a large neoclassical urn style vase set on a stepped base. Sprays of garden flowers in bright enamels spill out from the top with others scattered around the base. A couple of other small sprigs are used to hide tiny kiln spots in the glaze. Blue hatched square mark to the base, c.1770.
It measures 21.5cm (8 1/2") wide and 3.2cm (1 1/4") high.
In excellent condition with no damage or repair and very minor handling wear.
