Set of 6 Antique William IV Mahogany Dining Chairs.

A rare set of William IV Mahogany chairs .

We bring to you this rare original set of 6 William IV C1835 dining chairs made from the finest heavy Mahogany in fantastic original condition. This set of chairs features a spectacular curved top rail, complete with a Flame grain veneered centre flanked either side by beautiful scroll carvings. The centre rails are also very ornate having the same flame grain centre to fluted carvings either side. The chairs have plush drop in upholstered seat pads and moulded side and front rails raised on turned forelegs and typical curved rear legs.

These chairs feature their original French polished finish with a deep rich colour and lots of patina which have been sympathetically restored and carefully waxed in our workshop. These chairs have been looked after and cared for as it is very rare to find a set of 6 William IV or even Regency chairs in such good condition. Over time many of these sets get split into smaller sets.

These chairs are of the highest quality and are made from all solid heavy Mahogany with a strong design, construction with no loose joints or wobbles.

We have restored these chairs in our workshop to ensure they are in a home ready condition, the chairs do also have some historic repairs and these repairs have been done well are still in good order.

We have freshly reupholstered these chairs in a harvest gold/beige flat weave material so it is in perfect condition, the inner padding is traditional and is in good order and they are very comfortable seating.
