Description

Step into the world of early 20th-century military fieldwork with this original World War I-era officer’s telescope. Featuring a three-draw black lacquered barrel and housed in its original fitted leather case with shoulder strap, this rugged yet refined optical instrument would have accompanied field officers in trench warfare, reconnaissance, or artillery spotting – circa 1915

Measurements:

Length (closed): 10 1/2" (approx. 26.5cm)

Length (fully extended): 30 1/2" (approx. 77cm)

Total weight: 950g

In good condition – The lenses are functional with expected age-related marks but remain usable. This Telescope has seen plenty of real world use and the lacquered barrel shows signs of wear and the leather is well-worn with one end of the shoulder strap having broken away from the leather protection cup at the lower end of the telescope (as shown in the final photo for accuracy).
