A painfully scarce trompe l’oeil solid silver ‘cigar’ ashtray. Maker’s mark TF (Theo Fennell). Hallmarked for Theo Fennell, London, England. 20thC.

Also stamped Theo Fennell to the base.

Approx. 12cms in diameter.

c.f. Lot No 79 (an identical ‘cigar’ ashtray, formerly the property of David Tang), Bellman’s Auctioneers, May 2019, sold for £1,650 plus buyer’s premium, and subsequently sold on www.acollectedman.com.
