The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
The centre is painted with a neoclassical lidded urn with lion mask and ring mouldings. Festooned with garden flowers in bright enamels and some tiny green enamel dots carefully placed to hide tiny kiln spots in the glaze. Blue crescent mark to the base and provenance label for the Worcester Porcelain Museum. c.1770.
It measures 21.3cm (8 3/8") wide and 3.3cm (1 5/16") high.
In excellent condition with no damage or repair and only minor handling wear.
