Ernest Boetzel - often signed simply as E. Boetzel - is a French artist recognized for his work as a wood-engraver and painter/draughtsman. Born in the Saar region of Alsace, his career spanned the mid 19th to early 20th century (c. 1830–1913), and his work has been appreciated for its technical precision and expressive qualities.
