Description

A stunning quality Edwardian era hexagonal silver tea caddy with clear hallmarks for Sheffield 1911 and makers mark for Brook & Son. The hallmarks appear on the back, the underside of the lid and on the handle. The base bears a retailer’s stamp for Brook & Son 87 George Street, Edinburgh. The caddy is made of plain smooth silver in a hexagonal shape. The lid is attached by a strong hinge which gives the lid a perfect fit. The lid is adorned with an oval housing a looping web, in relief, topped by hinged handle. An elegant and beautifully made caddy in tip top condition. Weight 5.5oz/180gr.
