George III Period Mahogany Washstand by Gillows of Lancaster, the rectangular hinged top opening to an interior with an arrangement of boxes with turned bone knobs and cut glass bottles, flanking an easel backed mirror, the front with three dummy drawers over a centre double height drawer fitted with a ceramic washstand, flanked by two pairs of short drawers, stamped ‘Gillows Lancaster’ to one drawer, on tapering square legs with brass caps and castors.
