Vintage Norwegian Silver Gilt Enamel Brooch C1950

Description

A mid 20thc vintage Norwegian silver gilt brooch c1950 by Hans Myhre. The brooch comprises three white fine guilloche enamel lily pads mounted on silver gilt. The reverse is stamped with Hans Myhre’s anchor mark, .925 sterling silver and Made in Norway. All these were habitually used on Hans Myhre’s jewellery. Hans Myhre was based in Oslo. He bought Prydz & Meldahl’s business in c1950 and eventually David Andersen bought Myhre’s designs. The brooch is in excellent condition.
