A late 18th-century antique linen press in figured mahogany with original lion-head brass handles. The upper section features two panelled doors with decorative ebony line inlay, opening to reveal an oak-lined interior compartment with a hanging rail and slide drawers. Below, a chest of two short drawers over two full-width drawers offers practical storage. Raised on splayed bracket feet and finished with a shaped apron, this two-part construction exemplifies cabinetmaking from c.1780 and remains well-proportioned for modern use.
