The attention to detail in the colourful clothing and formal costumes is superb. The visual storytelling portraying themes of education, wisdom, and hierarchy in Qing society, amidst virtues of every-day life.
The gilded rococo-style scrolling borders and diaper decoration framing the figural panels are finely executed with rich gold accents, adding a luxurious touch typical of imperial-quality famille rose porcelain.The superior quality of enameling, delicate brushwork, and gilded detailing suggests these saucers were possibly produced in the prestigious Jingdezhen kilns for high-ranking officials or the export market catering to European aristocrats. These examples demonstrate artistic refinement closer to Yongzheng-period famille rose pieces. Superb.

Condition: Near perfect, with no hairlines. Some very minor frits to edges. Beautifully rich colours. No restoration.
