Walnut Cabinet on Chest –

circa 1690

Small Size with Great Colour and Beautiful Quality.

The cavetto cornice sits over a cushion moulded chart drawer above a pair of burr walnut veneered doors, with feather banding to the edge and original brass lock and working keys..

The cabinet opens to reveal an extensive arrangement of burr walnut veneered and feather banded drawers.

Oak drawer linings throughout.

A prominent waist moulding separates the two parts of the piece with an arrangement of two short over two long well-figured feather banded.

Oak lined drawers, with original locks with High quality replacement engraved brass handles and escutcheons very much in the keeping of the Period.

Supported by turned bun feet.
