Georgian Rosewood Bracket Clock by John Houghton

Description

A very good quality George IV figured rosewood antique bracket or table clock with decorative brass inlay to the front of the case, quarter turned reeded moulding and ebony mouldings. The case has brass ring handles to the sides, and stands on brass ball feet, and it is finished with a domed shaped top and brass pineapple finial.

The clock has a brass bezel and a 5 inch painted dish dial with Roman numerals and the makers name

The movement is an 8 day duration, five pillar, twin fusee with pull repeat action and strikes the hours on a bell.

The movement has been cleaned and serviced and comes with a 12 month guarantee.

Depth - 15 cm (6 inches)
