Antique Victorian Decorative Pressed Glass Biscuit Barrel. This lovely Victorian decorative pressed glass biscuit barrel and cover has frosted panels and three shaped and pierced clear glass handles standing on small glass feet. The lid having impressed Victorian Registration Mark also Makers stamp. Slight chip to inner rim of lid.

Biscuit barrel made by Sowerby & Co. of Gateshead-on-Tyne. The Sowerby maker''s mark depicts a peacock''s head . It is an uncommon item, especially with its lid still present and intact.
