A Georgian period satinwood and rosewood crossbanded, mahogany console or fold-over tea table with ebony and boxwood strung inlaid borders, circa 1800. This high quality, original table with oblong shaped top with rounded front corners and square edge, rosewood and satinwood crossbanded with ebony and boxwood stringing to the border. Square edge with matching stringing and cross banding. The top folds out to reveal a squared top with rounded corners further matching borders. Complimentary frieze with strung panels, raised on fine square tapering legs with elongated strung panels, on fine spade feet. Twin hinged rear legs to support the folded out top.
 
An unmolested original table, of the highest quality and beautifully made. A true survivor piece. In very good condition and very well presented. Sensitively cleaned and wax polished, now very much ready for use.
