French Emile Dropsy Virgin Mary 18k Yellow Gold Medal Pendant

An 18 karat (18K) yellow gold pendant designed as a medal depicting the Virgin Mary holding a lily with the inscription ‘Regina Virginum’ surrounding her halo. Signed E.D for Emile Dropsy. The reverse depicts a sheaf of roses and is engraved ‘Paulette'' with the date ''16 Janvier 1928’. Stamped with the eagle’s head for French manufacture and 18 karat gold with an unknown maker''s mark.
