This superb pair of hand sculpted terracotta garden or house lions dates to circa 1910.
They are large and well modelled in heavy well structured terracotta, which is in excellent condition with a lovely aged surface which has developed over the years to a most pleasing patina.
The fine detailing of both lions is slightly different, showing the artistry of the sculptor.
This large and impressive pair of classical lions are very decorative and would have great eye appeal and complement any home or location.
