Description:
A good one pint measure, by M Fothergill & Sons of Bristol, England who worked 1793 - 1835.
The measure has straight sided body with low fillet and stands on a slightly flared and heavily stepped foot with a single curve handle. The inner base is marked with the makers mark along with a crowned X, and to the left of the handle are the four maker''s hallmarks.
Below the hallmarks is a clear IMPERIAL label.
Ownership initials TCM are stamped in large clear letters.
The single verification mark is for Somerset County.

Albert Bartram collection.
Condition:
Excellent condition with a lightly polished silver grey finish and some traces of light oxide.
Repairs: There are no repairs that I could detect.
Size:
