This is a beautiful antique English gentleman''s hardwood sword stick with a carved bone pommel and a sterling silver mount, with hallmarks for Birmingham 1896 and makers marks for the silversmith Collins & Cook.
 
The striking stick features a decorative carved bone  pommel with sterling silver mounts on a gentle tapering hardwood shaft with its original ferrule, and opens to reveal a quadriform steel blade.
