Description

Gents 1960s Smiths Astral wrist watch.

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement, signed Made in England, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated and the case back is stainless steel. The case looks good to the naked eye, a little rubbing if viewed through a magnifying loupe.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with a subtle linen effect. There is a little marking but not too detrimental. Original hands and centre seconds hand.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a vintage presentation box.
