Corvidae Antique has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
SIZE: I and a half (UK), 4 and a half (US). The face of the ring measures approximately 1.5 x 1.3cm and it sits around 1cm above the finger. The opal is 9 x 7mm, surrounded by 14 diamonds of approx 2mm.

WEIGHT: 5.0g.
MATERIALS: 18-carat (750) white gold, opal, diamond.
CONDITION: The ring overall is in excellent antique condition. The opal has a chip at one edge on the back which under certain lights (under magnification and if you're really looking for it) can be seen through the front, see final photo taken in the most unflattering light possible! This has been reflected in the price, although we'd be willing to bet no one would ever notice it while they're admiring your finger so it's a chance to snap up a beautiful bargain.
ERA: Estimated late Edwardian-Art Deco (c.1910-1920s).
