Description

An original Art Deco string of faceted cherry amber Bakelite beads with a solid nine-carat gold clasp. The necklace appears to have its original red silk string and is knotted each side of the third bead from the ends.

SIZE: The necklace is approximately 17 and three quarter inches long and the beads range from approx 1cm to 2.5cm long.

WEIGHT: 40.1g.

MATERIALS: Cherry amber bakelite, nine-carat gold clasp (tested).

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: None.

CONDITION: Excellent antique/vintage condition, no chips or cracks found.

ERA: Art Deco c.1920s-30s.
