A very good quality antique Edwardian sterling silver three-piece tea set which consists of a teapot, sugar basin and cream jug. The teapot is oval in shape with part spiral fluted decoration to the body, gadroon decoration around the top rim, a hinged lid with similar spiral fluted detailing and resting on four ball feet. The cream jug and sugar basin have the same oval shaped bodies with part spiral fluted detailing, pretty leaf capped handles, nicely gilded interiors and resting on four ball feet. This silver tea set has been made to the highest standard as one would expect from Elkington. It would look splendid when displayed on a table or tray and would be perfect to use.
