AC Silver has dated this Opal Diamond Platinum Pendant to the 1930s.

This magnificent, fine and impressive opal pendant has been crafted in platinum with an 18ct yellow gold setting.
This large elongated quatrefoil-shaped, pierced decorated pendant displays a stunning feature central yellow gold collet set 5.50ct oval cabochon cut opal.

This feature gemstone is encompassed with twelve pavé set diamonds, in a combination of Old European, eight and Dutch cuts.
This diamond arrangement is segmented with four stunning natural saltwater pearls to the cardinal points; these pearls are incorporated into a square formation within the foliated frame.

The further four natural pearls are each flanked with splayed foliate designs accented with pavé set diamonds and incorporate four individually collet set diamonds to the upper and lower portions.
The outer circumference of this large pendant is further embellished with Old European cut diamonds, creating a scalloped border.

This antique pendant is suspended from an 18ct white gold 45.72cm/18' chain via a tapering bale ornamented with a further four pavé set diamonds.
This opal pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold and platinum.

This impressive pendant is supplied with two IDGL diamond grading report certificates, in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the opal and supporting stones.
This magnificent example of 1930s jewellery is further provided with a pearl report card and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London*.
