A good quality Victorian walnut jewellery box, the top and front inlaid with decorative brass lines. To the top is a vacant decorative brass cartouche, the front with matching keyhole escutcheon.
The box opens to reveal a fitted interior re-lined in a red cotton moire fabric and a luxurious red silk velvet, the inside of the lid further enhanced with gold thread embroidery. The lift-out tray reveals a further storage area beneath.
The box has been cleaned and professionally French polished and is in showroom condition.
