Additionally, the beaker is parcel gilt (areas of silver and silver-gilt for contrast), leaving the main body a darker silver colour due to the engraving and the accenting parts to be gilded. This creates an impressive illusion of depth and is a testament to its intricacy and craftsmanship.
Owing to its versatile nature and ornate design, this piece could be use both as a practical drinking vessel or as part of an interior display to elevate the ambience of any setting.
The inside is fully silver gilt with a rich gold tone which not only complements the overall appearance but prevents the contents held within from reacting and tarnishing the silver.
The front of the beaker is wonderfully hand-engraved with a floral accent blending into a vacant cartouche.

The beaker is marked with the French Minerva hallmark near the top edge on the upper band.

Great Condition - The beaker is in great antique condition with no issues or damage. Some very minor surface wear commensurate with age - the parcel gilding remains in very good condition and with a clean interior.
