Mid Century Sapphire, Ruby & Diamond Flip Ring, Circa 1950

Description

This beautiful night and day ring flip over ring features a central band of calibré cut gems; blue sapphires on one side, rubies the other. A pair of diamond set half rings are hinged on either side of the band, allowing you to wear the ring in a variety of ways.

Cut:? Calibré cut sapphires and ruby, and eight-cut diamonds.

Colour:? The diamonds are H to I.

Clarity:? The rubies and sapphires are eye clean. The diamonds are VS2 to SI1; all are clean to the naked eye.

Carat:? The total approximate sapphire weight is 0.56. The total approximate ruby weight is 0.48 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.44 carat.

Circa:? 1950.

Size:? K (UK) or 5 1/8 (US). Cannot be resized.

Measurements:? When the three sections are together, the ring is 9.5mm wide. The centre band is 3.3mm wide.

Weight:? 4.51 grams.

Metal:? Palladium. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
