Description:
Irish Half-gallon capacity, of typical Dublin ''Beefeater'' type, with a bold swan''s neck handle, double-dome lid, reeded spout and reeded chairback thumbpiece, by John Heaney of Dublin who worked 1763 - 1807. Good makers hallmarks to the base.
These flagon were for communion use in Churches.

Condition:
Excellent condition with a polished silver grey finish and some small traces of light oxide.
Repairs: There are no repairs that I could detect.

Base diameter: 7.25in (18.4cm).
Capacity: Approximately 1/2 gallon .
