Unusual Victorian Sterling Silver Mounted Cut Glass Glue Pot, Circa 1890

Description

This is a rare and rather striking silver mounted sliced-cut uranium glass glue pot. The vivid yellow baluster body with sliced-cut cross decorations. The lid with an ornate baluster hollow handle. The inner cover with brush attachment. Glue pots are rather scarce and this is a delightful example.

Sterling impressed on lid.

Dimensions:

Height: 8.5cm / 3.2 inches.

Base diameter: 3.5 cm / 1.3 inches.

Condition:

Glass in very good. condition.

Silver lid in good condition.
