Antique English Silver Plate & Glass Serving Tray C.1890

Description

A wonderfully useful Victorian serving tray, perfect for canape, hors d'oeuvre & cheeses, the centre has a thick piece of glass inset to the tray (comes out easily for washing), a really hygienic way of serving on highly decorative antique pieces.

The tray's rim is beautifully shaped with a heavy cast shell motif. The underside is marked D & A for the silversmith, DANIEL & ARTER of Birmingham. Lovely quality in excellent condition, measuring 13" x 10", Victorian in era, c.1890.
