Sheraton Satinwood Dressing Mirror Circa 1795

18th century
Description

Most attractive Sheraton veneered satinwood dressing or toilet mirror with shield shaped mirror (later plate) and with serpentine base fitted with three pine lined drawers. Kingwood banding to drawers and base and chequer stringing. Standing on ebonised flat bun feet. All in fine condition with just a couple of very minor veneer repairs. Lovely golden colour with great waxed patina. FRESH ON MARKET STRAIGHT FROM SCOTTISH MANSION HOUSE.

Size; 28" high, 15" wide. 8.5" deep.
