Antique Burr Walnut Safe Cabinet

Description

An unusual Victorian figured and burr walnut free standing cabinet with safe. The burr walnut top having a cross grain moulded edge, the arch panelled door with applied fret work and conforming arched panel to the back. The door opens via lock & key to reveal a mahogany shelf above the heavy Whittingham & Co. safe which retains the keys for the exterior and the internal drawer. The safe has been well used as it stood on top of the cabinet for many years. The cabinet is raised on a moulded base with square block feet and casters and is in excellent condition. Ideal as a bedside cabinet or lamp table as it can stand alone. Dimensions:- Height...30''/ 76cm. Width...18.5''/ 47cm. Depth...17.5''/ 45cm. Delivery to most of U.K. £80.
