A good quality early 20th century rise and fall chandelier in brass and glass and dating from circa 1900. The opaque bell shaped glass shades are original and in perfect condition. The heavy central brass weight operates a pulley system with the cables rolling up or down over the wooden wheels as this is raised or lowered by the centred brass handle with matching pulleys to the brass ceiling rose. Please note this item has been rewired using traditional style cable and fully PAT tested.
“
Ideal for high ceiling rooms as it has a full drop height of nearly 2 metres but could be increased or lowered with the cables shortened.
