C19th Chinese late Qing Dynasty celadon porcelain ‘barrel-shaped’ garden seat .

Of hexagonal form , the body modelled as simulated bamboo with shaped white vignette or cartouche panels of painted blue flowering branch and bird decoration. Two sides having pieced double intertwined ‘cash’ motifs with painted stylised bat and swag decoration. The top with a single large pierced ‘cash’ motif surrounded by 5 blue-painted stylised auspicious bat motifs .

A stylish seat or stand of unusual design and decoration , being in excellent original condition with no damage or repairs.
