Classically Handsome Victorian King Size Brass and Iron Bed.

Description

This gorgeous bed has lots of lovely detail; the castings have a beautifully detailed inset 8-sided star, with further indentations surrounding them. The chills also have a lovely detail in the cast iron. The foot end has two iron upstands topped with rod ends, the head featuring one central upstand.

Whole frame shot blasted and primed prior to hand pant finish in Little Greene’s Pompeian Ash. Dark waxed and buffed well to protect and shine.

Suitable for standard King size mattress 5’ x 6’6” / 150cm x 200cm

Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height.

The bed is photographed on a 2” base with our Bordeaux mattress. We can supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices. Please see our web site or email for full specifications and prices.

We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol.
