Large Shaped Sterling Silver Jewelry or Ring Box - 1915

Description

An exquisite shaped box made from English Sterling Silver, almost shell-shaped with a highly decorative raised scrolled border to the slightly domed lid.

The box is heavy made from a good gauge of silver and stands on four elegant legs. Once opened, the original interior is revealed with a rich pink silk lining and the lid having been gilded.

The box is of course bears the English silver hallmark (rubbed) for Chester 1915. Excellent condition, measuring 4" x 3" x 2" tall.
