One of the most attractive baskets I have had in some time, decorated with a plethora of pierced work, beading and repousse or embossed work, really exquisite in both quality and in aesthetic appeal.

The swing handle is decorated with a reticulated lattice design and the basket stands on a central highly decorative foot.

Dating to around 1880, this wonderful English basket lends itself to a multitude of uses, fruit, chocolates, cakes, biscuits or bread ... put this beautiful gem to use!

Excellent condition, measuring 12" in diameter and standing 10" to top of swing handle.
